The names on the shelves read like a who's who of the cigar world: Padron, Davidoff, Arturo Fuente, Ashton, La Aurora, Oliva, Camacho, Romeo Y Julieta, along with Baccarat, Quorum, Panter, and National Brand.

Whatever flavor profile you're chasing, the team here is more interested in matching you to the right smoke than pushing whatever they're promoting. Regulars point to Kole and Allen especially. People come in and get greeted by name, and the crew genuinely knows their stuff. One longtime regular called them "a throwback to hospitality, knowledge and service." When Cigar King marked its 64th anniversary, they even put out their own Celebrating 64 Years Connecticut Torpedo, and locals who tried it walked out with boxes.

The lounge is a real draw too. Word around Scottsdale is that the smoking area is spacious and comfortable, the kind of place where a visitor from New England said he felt right at home, and there's even a watch showroom if you're in the market for a new timepiece. They've also built a loyal following for orders shipped out of state.
