Cigarette Plus

Cigarette Plus is a family-run tobacco shop in Aurora, Colorado, and if you ask the regulars what keeps them coming back, the answer is almost always the owners. This is a husband-and-wife operation, and the word around Aurora is that the lady who runs the counter treats people well and goes out of her way to help. "The owners are the reason I keep coming back," one regular said simply. "They're wonderful." That kind of loyalty says a lot about a small shop.

The selection is broader than the name might suggest. Alongside the cigarettes, which some folks say are hard to find in carton form anywhere else, you'll find tobacco pipes, glass pipes, water pipes, vapes and vapor pens, plus a range of smoking accessories and gifts. People who shop here mention the store is always clean and well kept, and the staff are quick to point you toward what you need if you're in a hurry. Now, to be straight with you, locals are a little split on this one.

Some swear the prices on cigarettes beat anywhere else, while others feel they run a bit high compared to the convenience stores nearby. That's the honest picture. What most agree on is the friendly, personal service you get from a genuinely small, family-owned business. Worth knowing before you head over: the hours lean toward a regular daytime schedule rather than the round-the-clock chains, with shorter hours on Sunday and closures on holidays.

It's family run, so hours stay fairly predictable once you know them. If you prefer supporting a local shop with real people behind the counter over a corner-store cooler, Cigarette Plus is a solid, well-regarded stop in Aurora.
