The Bomb Headshop

The Bomb Headshop has earned a strong reputation around Aurora, and once you spend a little time in here it's easy to see why. This is a well-stocked shop with a big selection of glass, from water pipes and dab rigs to nectar collectors and bubblers, plus grinders, vaporizers, and all the smoking accessories you'd want to go with them. On the shelves you'll find Puffco and Tony Dabtana, and the glass runs the range from everyday pieces to larger quality work. People who shop here regularly point out the prices, and more than one local has said the value beats what you'll find elsewhere, even on bigger pieces.

Ask anyone who shops here and the name that comes up again and again is Unique. She has a knack for reading what a first-timer needs, walking folks through a selection that can feel overwhelming at first, and sending them out the door happy with the right piece. One gift shopper came in unsure of what they wanted and left calling it an unforgettable experience, all down to her patience and enthusiasm. Winston is another name worth knowing here.

One regular needed a very particular cigarette holder and Winston worked through several pieces until they found the perfect fit, then pointed them toward a bubbler at a deep discount on the way out. The word around Aurora is that this is a clean, friendly, conveniently located shop with staff who actually help. Now and then you'll hear the odd grumble, usually from someone who ran into a snag on a return or caught a less welcoming hello, so it pays to come in with a good attitude. The overall picture is a neighborhood smoke shop that keeps the shelves full, the prices fair, and the regulars coming back.

If you're hunting for glass or accessories in Aurora, it's a solid stop.
