Smoker Friendly

The back smoking lounge is what folks around Castle Rock talk about first when Smoker Friendly comes up. It's clean, comfortable, and the air circulation keeps it fresh, so you can settle in with a cigar and catch a game in good company. Regulars will tell you it's the kind of spot where you get to know the people behind the counter, and they get to know you right back. That personal touch comes up again and again.

One longtime customer put it best: 15 years strong, and every time he walks in, his brand is waiting for him. Another comes in twice a week and says the team not only keeps his cigarettes at the counter but remembers how many packs he buys. Names like Jordan, Steve, Russ, and Bry come up often, and people appreciate the ones who take the time to answer questions and point out what's on sale. More than a few locals have walked out spending less than they expected because someone behind the counter steered them to a deal.

The selection covers a lot of ground: cigarettes, cigars from everyday smokes to fancier picks, tobacco pipes, glass pipes and water pipes, vapes, plus odds and ends like Zippos and plenty of smoking accessories. They carry their own SF brand, and the word around town is that prices run fair, with bulk discounting on things like Zyn. If you can't find your cigarettes elsewhere in Castle Rock, this is one of the few shops that still stocks a wide range of brands. Are opinions perfectly unanimous?

No. A couple of people have grumbled about service or selection, but that runs against what most regulars say, and the loyal crowd here speaks for itself. You'll find the shop in the Safeway parking lot in Castle Rock. For a tobacco shop in town with a real lounge and staff who remember your name, it's an easy one to recommend.
