Smoker Friendly

Smoker Friendly on W. 44th Ave in Denver, right across from the Walmart, is the kind of neighborhood tobacco shop locals keep coming back to for the people behind the counter as much as the products. Ask anyone who shops here and the name that comes up is Justin, who folks say takes the time to help you find what you came in for. The word around this part of Denver is that the staff are genuinely warm, not in a forced way, and more than one regular has mentioned leaving in a better mood than they walked in with.

One person put it plainly: the young man up front always makes their day a little better before they head out. The shelves cover the basics done right. You'll find cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigars, and tobacco pipes, plus a case of glass pipes and water pipes, and they stock their own SF® line. The store itself is clean and well kept, and people appreciate the music that plays in the background, nothing harsh or full of language you'd rather not hear your kids repeat.

We've also heard folks get a kick out of seeing which hat the associates will show up in. If you smoke regularly, it's worth asking about the rewards program. Members tell us they shave a couple bucks off each carton once they sign up, which adds up fast. A quick honest note: locals are a little split on pricing, with some feeling certain packs run higher than other spots around town, and the shop sticks firmly to its ID policy, so bring a standard form of identification.

Overall though, this is a well-regarded tobacco shop in Denver, and the friendly crew is the reason people make it their regular stop.
