Purple Haze Smoke Shop

Purple Haze Smoke Shop has earned itself a real following in Englewood, Colorado, and spend five minutes talking to the people who shop here and you'll understand why. The space itself gets mentioned again and again: open, clean, well organized, none of that cramped feeling where you're shuffling sideways down a narrow aisle. As one regular put it, it's a head shop you actually enjoy walking into. The glass selection is where this shop really shines.

Locals will tell you there's a wide range to take in, from work by quality glass artists to the standard import pieces, plus water pipes, screens, and plenty in between. On the smoking side you'll find vapes and disposables, rolling papers, wraps, scales, and the everyday accessories you came in for. If something isn't on the shelf, people who shop here say the staff will usually track down an answer rather than leave you guessing, and special orders have a way of showing up fast. One person asked John to order exactly what they wanted and had it in hand three days later.

The name that comes up more than any other is Steezy. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll point you her way. She's the one who greets you at the door, walks you through glass sizes when you don't even know the right questions to ask, and never makes you feel rushed while you go back and forth deciding. Suzanne and Josie get the same kind of love for their patience and know-how.

There's also a monthly Tea and Terps event folks have had fun with, with teas to sample, vendors to browse, and glass to admire. Now and then we've heard the odd grumble about a slow visit or a mismatched pickup, but the warmth and product knowledge are what keep Englewood coming back.
