Edward's Pipe & Cigar Shop

Edward's Pipe & Cigar Shop has been part of Fort Collins since 1973, and that kind of staying power says something. This is a cigar shop first, with a lounge that regulars treat like a second home. The selection runs deep, and locals will tell you the house cigars are a real find for the money, a solid smoke that keeps people coming back. Alongside the sticks, you'll find tobacco pipes, cigarettes, and the smoking accessories to round out a visit.

What people around town talk about most is the lounge itself. Ask anyone who spends an afternoon here and they'll mention how easy the time passes, whether you're catching a game, settling in with a book, or trading stories with the regulars. We've heard it's a favorite stop for a night out with the guys, a bachelor party, and a welcoming hangout for veterans. One regular who stopped in while in town for a family wedding remembered how Terry, one of the owners, talked with him and his dad the whole time and made them feel like part of the place.

The owners know their cigars inside and out, and when the room is hopping, the camaraderie is part of the draw. Opinion isn't unanimous. A few folks have found the counter service a little short on a busy day, and some grumble that the prices run higher than buying elsewhere, though others are quick to point out that supporting a local shop and paying state tobacco tax is simply part of the deal. Taken together, Edward's holds a strong reputation in Fort Collins and remains one of the better-regarded cigar spots in town.

If you want a proper lounge with an experienced crew and a deep cigar case, this is a good one to settle into.
