Red Star Vapor & Smoke

If you vape in Fort Collins, odds are good someone has pointed you toward Red Star Vapor & Smoke. This spot off Elizabeth and Taft Hill has earned one of the strongest reputations of any smoke shop around here, and the regulars will tell you exactly why: the people behind the counter actually know their stuff. Ask anyone who shops here and the name Ross comes up fast. He's the one locals come back for, and the stories are consistent.

One regular said Ross helped her build out a rotation of juices she loves, is patient with picky tastes, and even helped her husband pick out the right vape for her birthday (a Voopoo, if you were wondering). Benny and Dylan get the same kind of praise. People say the crew walks right up, figures out what you want, throws in a recommendation or two, and gets you on your way quick. On the shelves you'll find disposables and vapes from the names people keep an eye out for, including Geek Bar, Lost Mary, RAZ, Foger, and Dispo Bar, plus a solid wall of e-liquid and vape juice and the smoking accessories to round things out.

The house juices get a lot of love from folks who like something they can't get anywhere else, and plenty of people stick with the bottled juice because it lasts. There's also a rewards program that regulars say comes in handy when you're watching your spending, and the general word around town is that the deals here are fair. It's the kind of place where the staff recommend flavors you'd never have tried on your own, and you're in and out fast. We've heard the occasional wish that the hours ran a little longer, and one person had a rough go with a return, but that runs against the grain of what nearly everyone else says.

For most people in Fort Collins, this is their preferred stop, and Ross is the reason they keep coming back.
