Freaky's Smoke Shop & Tattoo

Freaky's Smoke Shop & Tattoo has been a fixture in Glendale, Colorado for a long time, and the word around town is that this place has been serving smokers here for something like three decades. That kind of staying power says a lot. One longtime regular put it this way: still coming in since high school and still happy to find the business going strong all these years later. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll tell you it earns its reputation. The selection is where Freaky's really shines.

Locals come in for a solid spread of glass pipes and water bongs, terp slurps, buckets and attachments, nectar collectors, torches, and electric devices like dab pens and electric units. The vape wall gets praise too, with plenty of choices to dig through, and one happy visitor singled out the Neo brand in flavors like ruby and jewel. If you're after a Puffco Peak, they carry those as well. They also stock accessory odds and ends, scales, self defense items like knives and stun guns, and even some gothic clothing and pieces you won't easily find elsewhere. As one person who shops here put it, there's cool stuff everywhere, and you've just got to be a little patient to find it all.

The staff get named a lot, which is always a good sign. Tre (also spelled Trey) comes up again and again for warm, knowledgeable help, especially with vapes. One newcomer walked in on a cold Saturday night and left feeling genuinely welcomed. Nathan gets love too for taking the time with a tricky payment and never rushing anyone. People appreciate how clean the place is kept, and the in-house tattoo artists have a name around Glendale for talented, reasonably priced work and piercings.

We've heard the occasional grumble about a return or a short-tempered moment, but that's the exception. For a smoke shop in Glendale with deep roots and real variety, Freaky's is worth a stop.
