Smoking Cave Cigar Lounge

Smoking Cave Cigar Lounge has been a fixture on the south side of the Denver metro since 2010, and ask anyone who spends time here and they'll tell you the humidor is the heart of it. People call it one of the biggest walk-in humidors they've ever stepped into, well curated and stocked deep with everything from Arturo Fuente Opus X to rarer sticks you won't find just anywhere. The word around Highlands Ranch is that you can come in hunting for a specific smoke or wander in with no clue what you want, and either way you'll walk out happy. They carry El Septimo as well, along with tobacco pipes, hookah and shisha, and the usual accessories.

What keeps regulars loyal is the way the staff treat people. One woman stopped in to grab cigars as a gift before a flight, didn't smoke herself, and left glad she'd come, the young guy behind the counter helped her pick, packaged everything up, tucked in a humidity disk, and answered every question without a hint of impatience. That's the vibe here. Newcomers in particular appreciate that nobody pushes them toward the pricey stuff just because they don't know the lingo.

As one person put it, they make sure you get exactly what you're looking for. The setup is worth knowing before you go. There's a comfortable public lounge up front with leather seating for about a dozen, open to anyone who wants to sit and enjoy a cigar. Behind that is a members-only lounge seating around thirty, with 24-hour key card access for paid members and day passes available if you just want to try it out.

The front room stays lively, and folks who stick to it say it's clean, bright, and plenty relaxing. Easy free parking on site, and the place keeps late hours. One longtime regular summed up the whole thing: one of his favorite lounges on the south side of Denver, worth a stop if you're in the area.
