Freaky's Smoke Shop & Tattoo

Freaky's Smoke Shop & Tattoo is one of the more talked-about spots in Lakewood, Colorado, and for good reason. It covers a lot of ground under one roof: vapes, glass pipes and water pipes, vaporizers, and all the smoking accessories you'd want to keep stocked, plus a tattoo and piercing studio that regulars rave about. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll tell you the selection is solid and the people behind the counter actually know their stuff. Angelica gets a lot of love for being quick to track down exactly what folks come in for, and the word around town is that the prices here beat a lot of other spots around Denver for the same gear.

The glass and accessory side is the bread and butter, but it's the piercing and tattoo work that keeps people coming back and telling their friends. Christina is the name that comes up again and again for piercings. Locals describe her as thorough, precise, and genuinely good at putting nervous first-timers at ease, walking them through aftercare step by step. More than one person has come in for a nose or septum piercing and left ready to book their next one with her.

On the tattoo side, the Enigma has built a real following of his own. People who've sat in his chair call him one of the coolest, most interesting artists they've met, and he's got a knack for cleaning up and reviving old faded ink too. The vibe is friendly and unhurried. One regular remembered an employee pulling out all 25 pieces of jewelry so he could inspect each one at his own pace, never once rushing him even after he changed his mind on the whole selection.

That kind of patience is what people mean when they call this place better than most. A few folks have grumbled that the glass selection can feel similar to other shops nearby, but that's the minority opinion here. For a smoke shop in Lakewood that doubles as a trusted tattoo and piercing studio, Freaky's has earned its strong local reputation. If you go, ask for Christina or the Enigma by name.
