Mystic Smoke Shop

Mystic Smoke Shop has quietly become one of the most beloved smoke shops around Lakewood, Colorado, and spend five minutes inside and you'll understand why. The building looks modest from the street, but step in and it opens up bigger than you'd expect, with cool artwork throughout and a wall of glass that regulars rave about. The owners, Raul, Tasha and Sheila, run the place, and the word around town is they treat you less like a customer and more like a friend who wandered in. Raul in particular has a reputation for patience.

People talk about him walking them through the differences between products without ever pushing a sale, explaining the percentages on vapes, laying out the pros and cons on a new piece. One fellow came in having a rough day and left in a better mood just from the way he was treated. Another forgot to grab a dab tool, came back for it, and Raul simply gifted it to him. That's the kind of place this is.

The selection runs deep. You'll find vapes and a real variety of e-liquid and vape juice, disposables, cigars, rolling papers and all the accessories you'd want, plus the glass that keeps folks coming back. The water pipes and glass pipes get a lot of love for both the styles and the fair pricing, and the shop makes a point of carrying work from local artists, so there's plenty you won't see elsewhere. Several people have mentioned it as a good spot to pick up a gift or souvenir too.

There's a point system regulars appreciate, and the prices on vape juice are among the best in the area. Locals are nearly unanimous on this one. If there's a knock, it's that a few folks wish the doors opened a little earlier and stayed open a touch later, and the odd grumble about packaged goods has come up. Even so, people drive a good way to shop here, and most leave planning their next trip back.
