Rocky Ford Liquors & Smokes

Rocky Ford Liquors & Smokes has earned a loyal following in Rocky Ford, Colorado, and it is the kind of place people will drive out of their way to reach. We've heard from folks who make the trip from well over an hour away just to shop here, and that tells you plenty about the selection and the prices. One regular summed it up nicely: one of the best smoke shops around, and it happens to be a liquor store too. The shelves cover a good range for anyone who smokes or vapes.

You will find disposable vapes, e-liquid and vape juice, cigars, rolling papers, tobacco pipes, and the smaller accessories that are easy to run out of. A few people have told us they picked up a vape here they couldn't find anywhere else, so it's worth a look if you're after something specific. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll point you toward the staff, especially Hannah, who regulars describe as friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about what's on the shelves. The shop is run by a couple that locals clearly like, always with a smile and ready to make a suggestion if you're not sure what you want.

The word around town is that the prices are fair and the atmosphere is laid-back and a little bit cool. Being a liquor store as well as a smoke shop makes it an easy single stop, which out-of-town visitors mention appreciating when they pass through. One honest note: a few people have found the phone tough to get through on, so calling ahead to check inventory doesn't always work out. If you can't reach the store directly, we hear the owner is good about answering questions through her Facebook page.

For most who walk in, though, the experience lives up to the strong reputation this spot has built.
