Urban Smoken

Urban Smoken has earned a strong reputation in Walsenburg, sitting among the highest-rated smoke shops around. Ask anyone who shops here and the first thing they mention is the staff. People talk about Ian in particular, who knows his stuff and will happily point you in a good direction.

One regular summed up the vibe nicely: wouldn't go anywhere else. This is a head shop through and through, and the glass is what keeps folks coming back. We hear good things about the selection of pipes and water pipes, the quality of the glass itself, and the rolling papers and everyday smoking accessories you'd expect to find.

If you need the essentials, the word around town is that they usually have what you're after. Worth knowing up front: they don't carry cigars, so if that's what you're hunting for you'll need to look elsewhere. The space is well lit and easy to browse, which locals appreciate, and the prices land fair.

It's the kind of place where the people behind the counter are genuinely helpful rather than pushy, and that friendly atmosphere clearly sticks with people. More than one traveler passing through Walsenburg has made a point of stopping in, which says a lot for a shop in a smaller, out-of-the-way spot. If you're looking for a smoke shop in Walsenburg with quality glass and staff who actually know what they're talking about, Urban Smoken is an easy one to recommend.
