Tucked into South St. Pete just off the beaten path, it's the kind of spot people happily drive in for, some coming all the way from Tampa and Ybor City because they'd rather post up here. The word around town is that this is a quiet, relaxing oasis in the city, and folks appreciate that it never feels like the old dive-bar stereotype some associate with cigar lounges.

It's clean, classy, and well ventilated inside, though ask any regular and they'll point you straight out to the waterfront patio, which has that easy at-home feel. The humidor cabinets along the wall hold a thoughtful selection. You'll find big names like Arturo Fuente, Drew Estate, and Rocky Patel alongside some local picks. The lounge itself is on the smaller, boutique side, so the selection isn't as sprawling as some of the giant lounges, but locals will tell you the atmosphere more than makes up for it, and the prices sit right in line with what you'd expect anywhere else. Beyond cigars, they pour beer, wine, and liquor, keep coffee and soda on hand, and run happy hour specials on cigars and beers.

Owner Evan, also known around here as Jonathon, is spoken of as one of the most passionate and knowledgeable cigar people you'll meet, always happy to talk shop and make a recommendation, and genuinely focused on supporting local businesses. Bartenders Hillary and Jessie get warm mentions too, and the staff have a reputation for checking in without ever being pushy. It's a great place to work with a Prosecco in hand or to host an event.

One heads-up we've heard: there's a surcharge for paying with a card rather than cash, so bring a little cash if you'd rather skip it. Open since 2022 and still finding its stride, Estate Cigars & Social has already earned itself a loyal following in St. Pete.
