Xhale City - Roswell

Ask anyone who shops the smoke shops in historic Roswell and Xhale City comes up fast. Open since 2013 and one of the better regarded shops in town, this spot has built a real following, and a lot of that comes down to the people behind the counter. Squid's name gets brought up again and again, the kind of employee locals go out of their way for. One regular put it plainly: since Squid started working here, this is the only location they'll visit. Friendly, quick, and genuinely knowledgeable is the reputation, and folks say four people can be in and out the door in five minutes without ever feeling rushed.

The help doesn't stop with one person. Adam has a name around here for being patient with people new to vaping, walking them through the basics and making it fun instead of intimidating. Jewelz gets the same kind of praise, taking her time to explain the differences between devices and juices for someone who admitted they were completely green. If you walk in unsure what you need, this is the kind of place where somebody will actually sit with you and sort it out.

On the shelves you'll find vapes and vape hardware from names like SMOK, Vaporesso, Geek Vape, Voopoo, Lost Mary and Kado Bar, plus e-liquid and vape juice, Pax, Lookah and Puffco, and a solid range of CBD and hemp products. There's glass here too, and we've heard the staff are good at matching you to the right water pipe, well made and reasonably priced. The store stays clean, the music's good, and there's a loyalty account worth signing up for if you shop here often.

Not every visit lands perfectly, and we've heard the odd grumble about returns on a faulty product, but that runs against the grain of what most people in Roswell say about this place. The word around town is warm, welcoming, and worth the trip.
