The Glass House

The Glass House has earned itself a good name in Lorain, Ohio, and it's easy to see why once you spend a few minutes inside. This is a tobacco shop with a bit more personality than most. Alongside the vapes, e-liquid, disposable vapes, glass pipes and water pipes, rolling papers, CBD and hemp products, and smoking accessories, you'll find things you won't turn up at the average shop around here, from action figures and oddity items to tattoo supplies that regulars say never seem to run dry. Ask anyone who shops here and the first thing they'll mention is the service.

The staff know their stuff and take the time to walk you through it. Ashley gets singled out for explaining everything clearly, and Catt for being genuinely warm and kind. There's an older gentleman working the counter, too, who folks describe as full of charm, and when he didn't have exactly what one person needed, he offered to build it for them on the spot. That kind of effort is what keeps people coming back.

The incense selection is a real draw. People who shop here swear by the enormous range of Wildberry, and more than one local calls this the only place they'll buy it. We've heard the store is clean, smells great, and is laid out so you can actually find what you came for without wandering. Prices run a touch higher than the big-box stores, but the word around Lorain is that the choices you get make it worth the trip.

It's not perfect, and folks are honest about it. A few have wished the selection ran deeper, and there's a card minimum to keep in mind if you're paying with debit.
