Big House Tobacco

Big House Tobacco built a real following in Puyallup, and the loyalty runs deep enough that people would drive in from as far as Enumclaw just to shop here. The word around town was that this was a friendly, dependable stop for all the basics: cigarettes, a big selection of vapes and disposables, chew like Grizzly, and the smoking accessories to go with it. Regulars kept coming back for the good deals and rotating sales, and the disposable selection in particular got a lot of love, with folks saying there was almost too much to choose from.

The staff earned much of the goodwill. Ask anyone who shopped here and they'll tell you the crew went out of their way, friendly to a fault and genuinely helpful. One local remembered pulling into the lot with car trouble and having an employee come right out to lend a hand.

Longtime shoppers, some of whom followed the team over from Riverside, spoke warmly about being treated with respect every visit. There was the occasional grumble about newer staff not quite matching that standard, but the overall reputation stayed strong, and the place carried a solid four-plus reputation across the many people who took the time to talk it up. A couple of nice local touches stuck with people too, like the way the shop looked after fishermen during the salmon runs.

The drive-through and late hours made it easy to swing by, and it sat over on River Road. One thing to know before you head out: we've heard from more than one local that the shop appears to have been closed for a good while now, even though it may still show as open. It's worth calling ahead to confirm before making the trip, because folks around here clearly miss it and would welcome the doors reopening.
