Smoker Friendly

Smoker Friendly is a well-regarded tobacco shop in Colorado Springs, and the word around town is that it earns that reputation mostly on two things: a cigar lounge people genuinely love, and a counter crew that treats regulars right. Ask anyone who shops here and you'll hear about the selection and the fair prices, especially on smoking accessories where locals say the variety of sizes and shapes beats what you'll find elsewhere. The lounge is the heart of this place for a lot of folks.

One regular described it as the perfect midday escape, bring your own cigar or grab one from their case, settle into one of the comfortable chairs, pop open a Bundaberg ginger beer from the little fridge, and catch something on the big-screen TV. There's a microwave in there too, and seasoned cigar patrons and first-timers alike tend to feel at home. The cigar side itself is well looked after, with humidity and temperature kept in close check, so the stock stays in good shape.

On the shelves you'll find cigarettes, tobacco pipes, cigars, rolling papers, disposable vapes and other vapes, plus odds and ends like scented candles and energy drinks that make it an easy weekly stop. They carry their own SF® line, and the staff have a reputation for being friendly and helpful. More than one person has told us the service crew is the reason they started coming in regularly.

It's not without the occasional grumble. We've heard a few folks wish the cigarette stock stayed fuller, and the shop's practice of opening disposable vape packaging at the counter has rubbed some the wrong way, though that's a policy tied to how they sell. For most people around the Springs, though, the lounge and the crew keep them coming back.
