Smoker Friendly

Smoker Friendly has been part of the Denver tobacco scene for a long time, and plenty of folks around here have been shopping it for years. One longtime local mentioned stopping in on and off for over two decades, which tells you something about the kind of loyalty this place earns. You'll find cigarettes, cigars, tobacco pipes, hookah and shisha, and a good spread of smoking accessories, along with their own SF line.

The staff is what regulars talk about most. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll point to the friendly, knowledgeable crew, people who greet you with a smile and know the products cold. If they don't have what you're after, we hear they'll track it down and order it in for you.

Call-in orders get the same attention, and the word around Denver is that they keep longer hours than the other shops in their group. One nice touch locals appreciate: there's an American Spirit rep in on Thursdays offering discounts on those products. On value, people who shop here say prices run about the same as a convenience store, sometimes a little less, and they're good about honoring coupons and even handing out their own.

A few regulars still miss the flavored options that went away with the Denver city ban, and a couple have mentioned the odd Saturday where the doors opened later than posted, so if you're making a special trip early in the day it's worth a quick call first. Still, the overall picture is a friendly, well-regarded neighborhood tobacco shop that keeps people coming back. As one regular put it, it's a hot, busy spot with good prices and good people, right in their backyard.
