Smoker Friendly

Smoker Friendly on Denver's smoke shop scene has earned itself a loyal following, and spend five minutes talking to the regulars here and you'll understand why. The place keeps its shelves well stocked and the staff make the difference. Ask anyone who shops here and the name John comes up fast. People describe him as efficient when you're in a hurry and happy to kick up a good conversation when you've got time to linger.

Melissa gets just as much love. We've heard she'll set aside what you need and call you when it comes back in stock, the kind of personal touch you don't find everywhere. The selection runs across cigarettes, cigars, vapes, tobacco pipes, and plenty of smoking accessories, all carrying the shop's own SF brand presence. Folks who come through for harder-to-find cigarette brands have had luck here, with Virginia Slims and Winstons among the names people mention tracking down.

The glass is worth a look too, a mix of pieces by local artists and imported work. One regular picked up something they loved and swore by the quality. Value is a steady theme in the word around town. People have called around checking prices on Zyn and ended up here because the numbers beat what they'd seen elsewhere, and there are occasional monthly sales on regularly stocked tobacco products worth keeping an eye on.

A few locals are a little split on pricing on certain items, but the warmth of the crew and the friendly, helpful service carry the day for most who walk in. If you're a tobacco shop in Denver kind of shopper and you want a spot where the people behind the counter actually remember you, this is a solid choice. Just worth calling ahead near closing time, since the hours can occasionally run a little loose.
