T Devon Premium Cigars Inc

T Devon Premium Cigars Inc has a reputation around Denver as one of those rare spots that feels like a second living room. People who stop in describe it as "Cheers-like," a cigar bar where the regulars know each other and newcomers get folded into the crowd fast. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll point to the atmosphere first: leather seating and comfy chairs, a pool table, plenty of TVs for catching a game, and an outdoor patio that gets a lot of love when the weather cooperates. The hip hop playlist runs loud and lively, and the longtime bartender has a knack for keeping tabs on everybody, even if you walk in solo.

The cigar selection here leans toward quality over quantity. Locals are honest that it isn't the biggest lineup in town, but what's on hand is well chosen, and that suits the laid-back, settle-in-for-a-while vibe of the place. You can light up a cigar and pair it with a drink from the full bar, which stocks a solid range of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch, plus wine by the bottle. It's a smoking accessories and cigar spot wrapped up in a genuine neighborhood pub feel.

The staff are a big part of why people keep coming back. We've heard warm words for Rachel, John, and Ben, and the welcome extends just as readily to travelers passing through as it does to the regulars. More than one visitor from out of town has made it their stop whenever they're in Denver. Fair heads-up from the locals: this is a lively room, so it's not the place for a quiet, heart-to-heart conversation, and you'll hear the occasional f-bomb fly.

Open late and easygoing, Devon's is well worth a visit if a comfortable cigar lounge is what you're after in Denver.
