Cloud 9 Head Shop

Cloud 9 Head Shop has built a strong reputation in downtown Durango, and ask anyone who shops here and they'll tell you the people behind the counter are the reason. Regulars talk about staff who are friendly, honest, and genuinely knowledgeable, the kind who won't oversell you and will take the time to answer every question. One shopper came in for their first glass piece and had the employee water test three different ones before they picked. That patience and care comes up again and again. Ask for Luke if he's working; locals single him out as both welcoming and sharp on his product knowledge.

The selection surprises people. The space may look compact at first, but they've packed in a lot. You'll find vapes, disposable vapes, e-liquid and vape juice, glass pipes and water pipes, tobacco pipes, rolling papers, and all the smoking accessories you'd expect. There's plenty here for every budget, and for folks after something special, the word around Durango is they stock high-end pieces too, including blown glass from some of the best local glass blowers. Prices are consistently called fair and reasonable.

The owner is hands-on and stands behind what he sells. One couple had a product turn out defective twice over, and both times the issue was fixed on the spot without any fuss. That kind of follow-through is part of why people keep coming back. The shop is genuinely accommodating as well; one person in a wheelchair mentioned the staff helped them up and down the stairs so they could shop comfortably. A quick heads-up for first-timers: the door can be a little tricky to spot, so look carefully once you've found downtown parking.

Bring valid ID, because they check carefully. If you need anything in the smoking world around Durango, this is one of the most trusted shops in town.
