Rocky Mountain Pipe Dreams Smoke & Vape

Rocky Mountain Pipe Dreams has been a fixture for Lakewood smokers since 2013, and the word around town is pretty consistent: this is one of the best-regarded smoke shops in the area, with a reputation that keeps people coming back long after their first visit. Ask anyone who shops here and the conversation usually starts with the owner. Folks describe him as the kind of easygoing, down-to-earth guy who actually cares about getting you the right thing, not just moving product. One regular who moved down east Colfax says stopping by has become a bright part of the day.

The vape selection is a big draw, and locals will tell you the prices on disposables and vapes are some of the fairest around. More than a few people first wandered in out of convenience and then stuck around because of how they were treated. If glass is your thing, this is a strong spot for it. They carry pieces from SpaceGlass, Conviction Glass, Soy Bomb Glass, Clayball Glass, Durin Glass, Sykloud and NWTN Home, with everything from functional water pipes to the more artistic, display-worthy pieces.

You'll also find Puffco gear, Human Grade grinders, vaporizers and the usual smoking accessories to round out a rig. Customer service is where this place really earns its loyal following. One shopper came in with just a photo of what they wanted, and Mark knew the exact brand on sight, then steered them to a perfect match when the specific item wasn't in stock. Another was short on cash for a water pipe, and the owner worked out a price so he could walk out happy.

That kind of flexibility is what people mean when they call the vibe here chill. We've heard the occasional grumble about pricing not matching what someone expected at the register, so it's worth confirming the total, but the overwhelming sentiment is that this is a friendly, well-stocked shop worth going out of your way for. If you're looking for a vape shop or head shop in Lakewood, locals put this one at the top.
