Smoker Friendly

Smoker Friendly in Wheat Ridge has earned a steady reputation as one of the better tobacco shops around, and the folks who shop here regularly will tell you the cigar selection is the real draw. There's a proper humidor stocked with plenty to choose from, and the prices stay competitive. Ask anyone who's come in new to cigars and they'll point you to a staffer who takes the time to walk you through it. One fella planning his wedding had Ken steer him toward the right box for the money, and that kind of honest, no-pressure help comes up again and again.

A newer cigar buyer put it simply: honest, didn't push the pricey stuff. The shop has long had a small cigar lounge with a courtesy TV, a comfortable little spot to relax with a smoke. We've heard some disappointment lately that the lounge hasn't always been open, so it's worth asking about when you stop in. Beyond cigars, the selection runs deep.

Locals who buy in bulk swear by the bags of tobacco and cigarette tubes, and the chewing tobacco variety and pricing beat the gas station crowd. You'll find Backwoods, Dutch wraps, RAW papers, and a good lineup of butane cans at a fair price. The glass side covers the basics well, with plenty of pipes and water pipes to pick from. There's e-liquid and vape juice, vapes, tobacco pipes, and the usual smoking accessories too.

People who come in week after week keep saying the same thing: friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. One thing worth knowing before you make the trip, they don't accept a passport as valid ID, so bring your driver's license. On the rare occasion you might catch a "back in five minutes" sign on the door, so it can pay to call ahead. For a reliable smoke shop in Wheat Ridge, especially if cigars are your thing, this one keeps the regulars coming back.
