Mile High Pipe & Tobacco

If you ask around Wheat Ridge about a smoke shop where the people behind the counter actually know their stuff, Mile High Pipe & Tobacco comes up fast. This is one of several Mile High locations across the Denver area, and it's the newest of the bunch, but it's already earned a loyal following. Plenty of folks here have been coming back for years. One longtime customer who lives just a mile away has stuck with the shop for seven years, and another told us they've been coming for four years straight and won't shop anywhere else.

The staff is what people talk about most. Bella's name comes up again and again, and for good reason. Regulars say she's knowledgeable, quick to get you what you need, and has a knack for handling a busy shop with ease. Alex and Jackson round out a crew that locals describe as some of the nicest people you'll meet, always happy to answer questions and never pushy.

The word around town is that they give honest suggestions, the kind meant to actually help you rather than just ring up a sale. One regular came in for a simple coil and walked out with a better option the staff recommended, and said they were right. On the shelves you'll find vapes, disposable vapes, and a solid lineup of e-liquid and vape juice, plus rolling papers and all the smoking accessories you'd expect. The glass is a real highlight here.

People come specifically for the pipes and water pipes, and more than one person has called this their new local glass shop after a single visit. One customer picked up a piece for a birthday gift and couldn't say enough about how easy the staff made it. The vibe is laid back from the moment you walk in, the selection is deep, and newcomers tend to feel welcomed right away. If you're looking for a smoke shop in Wheat Ridge with friendly people and a strong local reputation, this one's worth a stop.
