Smoker Friendly

Ask anyone who shops at Smoker Friendly in Arvada and the first thing they mention is the people. Loretta, John, and the rest of the crew have built a real following here, and it's easy to see why. Regulars talk about walking in and getting greeted by name, with staff who sometimes remember what you came in for before you do. One longtime customer put it well: everyone there has a story, and they take the time to listen to yours.

That kind of warmth is rare, and it keeps folks coming back. This is a tobacco shop and the word around Arvada is that the prices are some of the best you'll find in town. They carry cigarettes, tobacco pipes, and a solid selection of e-liquid and vape juice, and you'll see their own SF branded goods on the shelves too. People who shop here for their vaping liquid swear by the place and won't go anywhere else for it.

Make a request for something and the staff handle it gladly, never making you feel like you're in the way. The store moved a while back when the old strip mall came down, and it landed a little off the beaten path, but locals say it was worth tracking down. The new spot is a touch smaller, though the same friendly faces and most of the same stock made the move with it. There's a laid back feel inside, soft folk music playing, the kind of place where you don't feel rushed.

A quick heads up on hours: a couple of people have run into the doors locked a little earlier than posted, so it's worth calling ahead if you're swinging by near closing. That small wrinkle aside, Smoker Friendly has earned a strong reputation around Arvada, and the people behind the counter are the biggest reason why.
