Hammy's Smoke Shop

Hammy's Smoke Shop has earned a strong reputation around Boulder, and once you've been inside it's easy to see why. It's a cute little spot where every available inch is packed with goods, from vapes and e-liquid to disposables, cigars, rolling papers and a glass selection that people keep raving about. If you're after a piece, this is the place locals point you toward. One regular walked out with a hefty porcelain bong that doubles as a centerpiece, and others come back again and again for the unique, genuinely beautiful glass lining the shelves.

What really keeps people loyal is the service. Ask anyone who shops here and they'll mention the easygoing, no-pressure vibe, the kind of place where the person behind the counter gives you room to browse, answers your questions, and doesn't rush you out even close to closing time. Benjamin, the owner, has a reputation for being welcoming and laid-back, and names like Shah, Red and Frankie come up again and again from folks who appreciated the honest, knowledgeable help. Frankie in particular gets credit for steering one customer toward a Suorin that fit their needs better than what they came in for.

The word around Boulder is that the pricing is fair and the staff are informed without being pushy, which, as more than one visitor coming through from Denver pointed out, is harder to find than it should be. If you're traveling through or you call Boulder home, this is a shop worth stopping into. We'll be straight with you: we've heard the occasional grumble about a pricing mix-up at the register, and the shop has made things right when it mattered. The overwhelming feeling is that Hammy's is one of the best smoke shops in town, with good quality products, a chill atmosphere, and staff who actually know their stuff.

As one regular put it, this place is legit.
