Wake'n Bake Smoke Shop

Wake'n Bake Smoke Shop has built a serious reputation in Boulder, and it's easy to see why. This is one of the highest-rated smoke shops in the area, the kind of place people drive in for. We've heard of folks making the trip all the way from Wyoming just to shop here, which tells you something about how the regulars feel. The selection covers a lot of ground. You'll find a solid lineup of glass pipes and water pipes, grinders, cigars, and plenty of disposable vapes, including a good run of Geek Bar flavors.

Ask anyone who shops here and the service comes up right away. The guys working the counter have a reputation for being attentive and down to earth, happy to explain things and point you toward what you're actually looking for. One person who came in rushed left with a recommendation, a discount on the spot, and a free item tossed in for good measure. Deals like that come up often around here. The owner is a big part of the story.

Locals talk about him working the register himself, remembering faces and conversations, even gifting the occasional chocolate bar to customers he knows. When one shopper bought something that turned out to be open, he handed over his personal number and made it right the next day. That's the sort of thing that keeps people coming back. One regular summed up the vibe well, saying the place has that neighborhood feel where everybody knows each other. The shop is clean, it smells good, and it's an easy place to hang around.

In fairness, we've heard the odd grumble about feeling a little too closely watched on a first visit, but that's not the common experience. Most people walk out happy and plenty swear it's the best smoke shop in Boulder. If you're after good glass, a cigar, or a new vape, this is a spot worth your time.
