Public Smoke Shop

Public Smoke Shop has been a Longmont fixture for years now, the kind of place people keep coming back to long after their first visit. The word around town is that this is the best smoke shop in Longmont, and the prices get mentioned just as often as the selection. Ask anyone who shops here and they will tell you the value is hard to beat. The glass is what really draws people in.

Water pipes, bowls, pieces, and a lot of beautiful blown glass, with staff who genuinely enjoy helping you find the right one. One regular came in after a partner accidentally smashed their water pipe and walked out with a top-of-the-line replacement plus glycerin attachments they had never even heard of. Beyond the glass, you will find vaporizers, vapes, a well stocked wall of e-liquid and vape juice, rolling papers, and the everyday smoking accessories you came in for. Folks who are new to vaporizers especially appreciate being walked through where to start.

The crew here gets named by name, and that tells you something. Morgan comes up again and again as the person to find for the perfect piece, and we've heard plenty of praise for Dom and Emily too, both quick to help and happy to troubleshoot. The owner has a reputation around town as one chill, easygoing guy. People talk about the kind of service that puts in extra effort, like helping track down a product elsewhere when the shop didn't carry exactly what someone needed.

A handful of folks have mentioned feeling the staff was off on a given day, but that runs against the grain of what most locals say. One thing worth knowing: the shop looks small from the outside and opens up roomier than you would expect once you step in, with something for just about everyone. If you are after a smoke shop in Longmont with a good vibe, a knowledgeable crew, and fair prices, this one earns the loyalty it gets.
