Smoker Friendly

There's a reason folks in Longmont keep this one in their back pocket: Smoker Friendly is open 24 hours, so whenever the craving or the errand hits, the door is unlocked. It's not a big space, and nobody pretends otherwise, but regulars will tell you the selection packs way more into it than you'd guess. Cigarettes, cigars, tobacco pipes, rolling papers, and all the smoking accessories you might run through are here, along with the shop's own SF line. You can grab gas, snacks, sodas, and lottery tickets on the same stop too, which makes it an easy one to work into a daily routine.

The cigar lounge is a quiet little perk people around town appreciate. Ask anyone who's spent time in it and they'll say the same thing: enjoyable, comfortable, and rarely crowded, which is a nice change of pace. The shop stays clean and well organized despite the compact footprint, and if they don't have what you're after, the word is they'll do their best to track it down and order it in. What really sticks with people here is the staff.

We've heard warm things about Julia, who knows the products inside and out and takes real time with anyone who walks in, and there's a sharp cashier with long blond hair who keeps the place polite and professional no matter what the day throws at her. One regular, a woman named Debra, was so happy with the help she practically wrote the shop a thank-you note for moving into town. People talk about getting recognized here even when they don't come in often, and that kind of personal touch is rare. Fair prices, a friendly crew, and the convenience of round-the-clock hours have earned this tobacco shop a solid reputation in Longmont.

Opinions aren't unanimous on every shift, but the steady word of mouth here is a positive one, and plenty of locals count it among their favorites.
